Leaders Guide – Summer in Psalms: Lesson Zero

Overview & Icebreaker 5-10 min Two truths and a Lie

Summer in the Psalms: Gospel Fluency

LESSON ZERO:

● Each person shares three statements about themselves – two truths and one lie – and the rest of the group tries to guess which statement is the lie. It’s a fun way to learn interesting facts about each other while breaking the ice!

Calendar Overview & Adjustment for Group

This summer, we’re diving into a transformative journey of becoming more like Jesus, and the Psalms are our guide for the adventure ahead. These poems and songs offer a fresh approach, helping us reflect on prayer, honesty, worship, and personal growth. Throughout May and June, we’ll gather with our missional communities for meaningful discussions, genuine connections, and practical insights. And to add to the experience, we’ve put together a simple daily scripture reading and memorization plan that ties into our sermon series, perfect for individuals and families alike.
